1) for each and every electrical gadget there should be benchmarking of power consumption or product standard data should be made available, and only eligible product should be allowed in market. 2) the producer/seller and user of power guzzler goods should be punished. 3) The electricity consumer should be given incentive for reduction in consumption for more than three months, in his/her average consumption. 4) All the electricity boards must be compelled to supply quality power supply.

If I could make a decision, The first thing will be the solar energy research. Hydrogen is the energy for future. It has many advantages like no pollution while burning,bi-product is water and oxygen only, high calorific value etc. Got many limitations too. We should give much importance for the research activities in this field. Because it is renewable.

Using more of renewable energy sources which has more potential in our country India being a sub-tropical country has abundance of sunlight, especially below tropic of cancer and we have ample of railway stations in the country. What we should do is we should combine these two ample i.e. roof the railway stations can be used to plant solar panels. they can optimally utilize solar energy. As it is railway is the largest consumer of electricity, this might turn out to be a profitable investment

Electricity is in scarcity all over India.Electricity transmission lines are stressed by MAXIMUM DEMAND CURRENT each time an APARTMENT/MALL/MULTI STOREY BUILDING lift motor is started and stopped.GOI.should. mandate NO LOAD STARTING DEVICES such FLUID DRIVE COUPLING/EDDY CURRENT COUPLING drives instead of direct flexible couplings used so that power line stress is greatly reduced. Also installation of Capacitor Bank after Apartment transformer and before meter in BUSBAR mandated to improve PF

Mandate IOCL to supply to all domestic LPG users a small solar panel for just pre heating 20 litres of cooking water only do that with solar perheated cooking/drinking water, the domestic LPG consumption get reduced by almost over 50%. A 20 litre cooking water/drinking water solar system will not cost more than Rs.5000/- MRP .A policy decision on this linked to LPG SUBSIDY will help production of millions of solar heating system by many small/medium industries for direct sale / supply through IO

Respected PM, India spent excess energy for 244 million ton oil equivalent for 2012. This is equivalent to Rs, 10,74,600 cr ie 12% of our GDP of Rs 83,34,000 cr. This has to be explained to public on this day. People should understand the quantum of excess energy India is spending with reference to Denmark.. India made the report in Aug 2006 and Cabinet approved in Dec 2008.
