Respected PM, It is already 8 years back the report available. Government should think seriously. Even in the report also in the first page it said 0,16 kgoe?$ GDP in PPP terms against 0.13 kgoe for Denmark. All can not understand this terminalogy. That means India spent in 2003, Rs 2,65,000 cr with oil and dolor eexchange. Public should be explained properly and more coopration comes from them.

Respected PM, Energy Conservation is a continuous process. Govt studied and made the report in Aug 2006 and Union Cabinet approved in Dec 2008. The report is available in Planning Commission website, " Integrated Energy Policy Document Aug 2006". Implementation has to improve still a lot. We have to take to peoples mind that we spent Rs 10,74,600 cr. Then only people cooperation come. We have to act quickly.

The govt should start using renewable sources. And PENALIZE each and every household for still depending on fossil fuels. The penalty amount should be increased with time so that people are forced to come out of their comfort zone to start with you can give rewards publically to the one who have started using the clean energy so that they are cast as heroes in front of people eyes. Business tycoons, media can play vital role in it. add things for free that symbolise energy efficiency.

Solar energy is the best way. Cost is major hurdle. Subsidy is there, but banking sector should come forward with easy loan schemes. Off grid PV for rural areas & on grid PV for urban areas will work wonders. LED lights reduces more than 50% lighting load. Induction lights are also energy efficient and long lasting.First Install solar systems on Govt buildings. Solar pumping subsidy (40%) for farmers is not sufficient. For 3 hp pumps farmer has to pay Rs 75000 up front and Rs 150000/- as a loan.
