One step solution is to declare energy a commodity (and not a service) and please give this commodity at reasonable rates to only those who need it at such rates. And then have capacity to IMPLEMENT what I decide. I think we are messed up because to solve one problem in the past we created a bigger one for us. We believed in postponing issues by giving special packages to states and subsidizing electricity (without making the beneficiary realizing that it's subsidized), why will anyone conserve?

i would make every office a paperless office. how i would do it? pls see below: 1. create mail id in nic for every govt employee. 2. every communication either with higher offices would be through mail only. 3. the communication through mail to be accepted as official communication. 4. no requirement of large number of photocopies. 5. no requirement of certifications to do this i dont need anything additional. just a policy decision.The amount of paper and the time saved is enormous.

Solar energy is the way by which we will save energy now a days people are not using more solar equipment because of basic cost and time if we reduce cost of equipment and increase more efficient solar energy to reduce time for cooking if we introduce solar energy cooking system in villages with subsidy

Repair and change the transmission systems. Repair cables, use rubber shielded cables – stops stealing and makes it SAFE. There was trial initiative for burying of electric cables on right side of road till local transformer.It worked well but was dropped. Please reinitiate it

I will give provide a solar pannel to every family so that some energy can be produced by them and the money would be directly deducted from their bank account monthly(for around 30 months) and they would pay only about 30% of their total cost during the time they buy.

I would meter all the consumptions and remove assumptions. All data should be validated through Metered data only. Generation is accurately metered. But losses is not done. Since Agriculture power is not metered the SEB people are simply tinkering with data and showing more consumption and showing losses to a lesser degree. Once this practice is removed then we will know how much is been consumed and how much is wasted or line losses is there and will attempt to improve the same automatically.

The main alternative energy available in huge is the solar power.There should be a mechanism provided by the Govt to give soft loan to the interested people to start their home power plans.First , Govt will invest to make that happen,later these households can be connected to a grid mechanism with "NET METERING".People will pay back the Govt. by able returns per month.After 2-3 years The Govt . will have much benefits from it.e.g 1.
