If I was Government Of India, I would encourage the use non-conventional energy sources in all fields wherever possible. For example: Street lights running on solar energy, Automobile / Vehicles using solar energy,etc.

I WILL PASS A BILL OF REDUCTION IN INCOME TAX TO THOSE WHO WILL SAVE SET LIMIT OF ELECTRICITY UNITS

I would like to ensure that all gadgets especially electronic ones like TV, HiFi Music System MANDATORILY HAVE MANUAL POWER OFF button. As on today a large amount of energy is wasted by keeping these electronic appliances in standby mode as majority of the manufacturer DONOT provide manual POWER OFF switch in any gadget. Just ensuring this will save a lot of energy in India.

Build Solar panels belts on Water Canals, over the Railways Pols, street light pols, Roofs of industry shades, leasing the roofs of houses to generate power and give Tax benefits to owner of roof instead of paying rants of roofs. Other most important source of green energy is to build one huge BIOGAS PLANT in each village where the compost of cattle's can easily collect to generate BIOGAS. That can be use either as cooking gas or to generate electricity to make villages Energy self sufficient.

I would train school children and youth to search for and use alternative energy sources for electricity generated from water resources.

We can collect biodegradable waste and generate energy.we can generate energy by simply walking and running.if u will help i can give u the model.

Reduce fuel consumption as natural gas coal gas will again reduce subsidy burden as the same time will help in long term to reserve our resources of fuel for future generations so it is win win situation for nation but for that new technology adoption invention of new method for burning and make fertilizer the students from IIT and private companies to take initiative to invent and implement new technology as social as well for business purpose to build nation and then world as future power

No pollution no fuel no wood even by using garbage we can generate power basic garbage collection solid liquid and semi liquid collect separately liquid and semi liquid garbage use to make fertilizer and gas will use to make steam along with solid garbage directly use for burning which will generate steam to generate power so benefit cleanness maintain 2 reduce pollution 3 fertilizer generation will reduce subsidy burden 4 increase employment opportunities 5 power generation will be helpful
