All citizens and stakeholders of Tirupati City are invited to participate in the essay writing competition on the Theme of Mera Sapno ka Shahar i.e. “Tirupati Nagaram – Naa Kalala Tirupati”.
Municipal Corporation Tirupati will use the inputs from the winning entries to develop the Vision and Sub-goals for the City Plan and preliminary idea of Smart Solutions and Area Based Developments. Essay can be written in English or Telugu.
Topic
The citizens are requested to present the essay on below topic
• Issues/needs of the city, possible solutions for these issues and priorities
Word Limit: Essay should be approximately 1000 words.

a) 1st Prize - Rs 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand only)
b) 2nd Prize - Rs 15,000/- (Fifteen thousand only)
c) 3rd Prize - Rs 10,000/- (Ten thousand only)
2. For Others
a) 1st Prize - Rs 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand only)

2. On Postal - Commissioner, Tirupati Municipal Corporation, Tirupati. Please mention on top of the cover as “SMART TIRUPATI – ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION”.
Terms and Conditions
1. Essay should cover the topic mentioned above and weightage shall be given to Creative, Innovative and Positive.
2. The Name of the Participant, Address, Category, Occupation, Age and Contact No., must be mentioned clearly on the top of the Essay.
3. Municipal Corporation Tirupati will evaluate the entries in each category and the TOP THREE ESSAYS will be awarded.
The Competition will close on 15th November, 2015.

our pride tirupati with god srinivasa surrounding with beautiful trees,mountains,waterfalls..makes asmart city if red sander smuggling enacted,24*7 hours surveillance to tirumala,problems of water management,IT,manufacturing hub starts

Tirumala improvements:
Darshan to be within 1 hr. Allot time slots on booking darshan/seva
Develop package to link train/flight/bus tickets with room & seva/darshan
Do not hike seva/darshan & room tickets,as the offerings/donations from pilgrims are sufficient
Ban plastics
Develop attractive, good fragrance, medicinal, flowering plants with good landscaping
Do not pull/push the pilgrims inside temple
Maintain smooth line flow
Blocking & Sudden release of Q to be avoided

Tirupati is a city of presence of lord venkateswara. worldwide many of piligrims visit tirupti for lord venkateswara darsan. when they come tirupati, they need to feel we are in the place of smartly developed in all areas like water, electricity, transport, harmful hospitality, education & employment facilities etc. If we developed Tirupathi as a smarty city, it is a icon for india in worldwide how india is developed and it will give many positive results need for development

Tirupati which has great talent can invigorate itself in IT industry.Now,foreigners have easy route to the city with the new airport.Transportation can be taken to another level.Water-shed management and sanitation are to be dealt with carefully.24 hours power supply can be achieved.Tourism industry should be taken to another level.City planning should be picture perfect.At the end of the day everyone should feel proud of the city that has become quintessential in every field"MERA BHARAT MAHAAN"
