All citizens and stakeholders of Tirupati City are invited to participate in the essay writing competition on the Theme of Mera Sapno ka Shahar i.e. “Tirupati Nagaram – Naa Kalala Tirupati”.

Municipal Corporation Tirupati will use the inputs from the winning entries to develop the Vision and Sub-goals for the City Plan and preliminary idea of Smart Solutions and Area Based Developments. Essay can be written in English or Telugu.

Topic

The citizens are requested to present the essay on below topic

• Issues/needs of the city, possible solutions for these issues and priorities

Word Limit: Essay should be approximately 1000 words.

The Top 3 Essays will be awarded as:

1. For Students

a) 1st Prize - Rs 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand only)
b) 2nd Prize - Rs 15,000/- (Fifteen thousand only)
c) 3rd Prize - Rs 10,000/- (Ten thousand only)

2. For Others

a) 1st Prize - Rs 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand only)
b) 2nd Prize - Rs 15,000/- (Fifteen thousand only)
c) 3rd Prize - Rs 10,000/- (Ten thousand only)

How to Submit

1. Submit online at https://mygov.in
2. On Postal - Commissioner, Tirupati Municipal Corporation, Tirupati. Please mention on top of the cover as “SMART TIRUPATI – ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION”.

Terms and Conditions

1. Essay should cover the topic mentioned above and weightage shall be given to Creative, Innovative and Positive.

2. The Name of the Participant, Address, Category, Occupation, Age and Contact No., must be mentioned clearly on the top of the Essay.

3. Municipal Corporation Tirupati will evaluate the entries in each category and the TOP THREE ESSAYS will be awarded.

The Competition will close on 15th November, 2015.

Solutions: Road widening, providing flyovers at important junctions. Recycled water supply systems improvement, use of bio toilets at busstands and railway stations. Improvement in sanitation.

Tirupati is famous pilgrim place in the world. Issues: 1. 24 hours water supply to all areas of the place. Solution: Plant trees in all the streets and store rain water in all the house by digging a hole infront of houses. 2. Widen the roads and construct flyover from bus-stand to alipiri. Solution: Take help from central or state or TTD. 3. Construct one super speciality hospital which will treat all type of disease otherwise most of them are going to chennai or vellore Sol: PPP system

T.LOKESH,19-46-S1-346,S B I COLONY,TIRUPATI Tourism should be improved a lot by introducing theme parks,multiplexes and other technological things.coming to drainage and waste water maintanence,every house hold should be connected to underground drainage.seperate underground rain water system should be developed so that rain water can be used to increase the ground water levels.widening of roads is very necessary and any illegal constructions or any occupations of road should be demolished.

to make tirupathi - the smart city, to overcome many problems.first we need employment opportunities.and then continuous water supply to the people.Another problem is under drainage system.to maintain greenery in this city and to develop recreation for the sake of children. to develop educational institutions.to develop and widening of roads and to develop tourism.

a smart city is the city where all the supplements being supplied to each and every individual of the city... so the needs are to be fulfilled by the respective government... we are great enough for the government which came forward to make this divine city as a smart city... of-course as on to mention the water shortage is the major problem we are suffering with.. if we could manage to overcome that it is good that we can at-least overcome one of our need...

making a smart city requires thinking smart and also acting smart.this must be the main theme of our work.building a smart city requires a lot of effort by many people..this also includes building alot of IT companies which needs destruction of environment ,this can be done by building tall buildings in a smaller area so that there will be no much loss to the environment .the other main problem is pollution this can be reduced by using bicycles by the people .and there is no more space:[
