Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) seeks entries for an innovative designing of a logo for National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation. The objective of this national campaign is to create awareness among the citizens of India for good practices and habits towards energy saving.

The last date of submission is 5th December, 2014.

The winning entries will be awarded cash prize as under:

1. First Prize - Rs. 25,000/-
2. Second Prize - Rs. 15,000/-
3. Third Prize - Rs. 10,000/-

There will be three prizes for third position and Rs 10,000/- will be awarded to each winner.

We can Conservation Energy By Saving water , reduce use of light So that our Earth remain Green which keeps us continuous smiling.

In 1st and 2nd design the bulb signifies energy, the Rupee symbol signifies nation’s economy and the hands clearly depicts that the more we save energy, the more we help in strengthening our nation’s economy. In 3rd design the hands forming the shape of bulb depict the strength of unity. Together we can save more and can illuminate our nation’s future. Where the various shades of green depict the diverse culture of our nation, it also insists to go eco-friendly and improve our environment.

Sustainable energy conservation depends on the prudent use of energy and identifying renewal energy resources, focus on alternative fuels,planting trees and saving water , recycling of natural resources and use of energy resources in a more effective way.We should think on a continuous basis to conserve energy in our routine life.Energy conservation has to be made a way of life.

Instead of proposing new ideas i worked how we can modify our routines to make a difference. Saving energy is the most important concern hence with the use of linear elements and colors i have liked to depict the same as simply as possible.
