Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) seeks entries for an innovative designing of a logo for National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation. The objective of this national campaign is to create awareness among the citizens of India for good practices and habits towards energy saving.

The last date of submission is 5th December, 2014.

The winning entries will be awarded cash prize as under:

1. First Prize - Rs. 25,000/-
2. Second Prize - Rs. 15,000/-
3. Third Prize - Rs. 10,000/-

There will be three prizes for third position and Rs 10,000/- will be awarded to each winner.

as an apple a day keeps us healthy.same here we savepower daily to make our future healthy and bright.we should use sun light to produce solar energy and conserve our energy.

In the logo, two hands are coming close to conserve energy. By the orientation of hands, one can easily make out that the hands belong to two different persons. It was very essential to depict people coming together as it is for an awareness campaign. The negative space between the hands depicts a spark of energy, which is very similar to the logo of BEE (Bureau of Energy EEfficiency). The rays emerging out depicts the glow of energy that is conserved between those two hands.

Concept:- Right arm of a woman makes a shape of a bulb. Index finger and thumb are holding the base of the imaginary bulb. And the filament of the imaginary bulb is made of energy sign merged with the sign of Rupee. Theme:- Save Energy, Save Money.

Logo theme : Save energy, Build Energy.... Its caring our energy so that it does not get misused and instead we should take care on how to save it and saving energy is building energy.
