Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) seeks entries for an innovative designing of a logo for National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation. The objective of this national campaign is to create awareness among the citizens of India for good practices and habits towards energy saving.

The last date of submission is 5th December, 2014.

The winning entries will be awarded cash prize as under:

1. First Prize - Rs. 25,000/-
2. Second Prize - Rs. 15,000/-
3. Third Prize - Rs. 10,000/-

There will be three prizes for third position and Rs 10,000/- will be awarded to each winner.

Piggy bank represents savings which is understood by almost every individual and so it is used, Energy is represented by fuel drop and electric power symbol in the drop to depict electric energy also. On the whole the theme is to save the energy in the piggy bank for the future generations.

These is the logo is form of two color . one color is blue & other is orange . both color is mixture of renewable energy source. its show save energy and save life of people.

I have used "Piggy Bank" concept for the logo, because this is an awareness program wherein you have to depict the concept through which people can relate better, when you say "Conservation" most of them may or may not understand what it means however when you say "Save" as in piggy bank savings even rural people can understand, for everyone has a habit of saving coins. The Only way to save energy is Green energy replacement.Recycle the energy resources and live a happy life with nature's gifts.Efficiency usage of energy makes Deficiency of pollution. :)

The Logo defines itself as The CHAKRA symbolises of first India and then its strength that by placing clay also how it can give formation to valuable things and objects in our lives. The GULAK symbolises saving, as it was the initial methods of saving valuable entities. The HANDS of the potter symbolises our hands that we have to make a Gulak ourselves to conserve energy. The RADIANT BALL symbolises energy . Lets value the Traditional methods and Conserve Energy.
