Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) seeks entries for an innovative designing of a logo for National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation. The objective of this national campaign is to create awareness among the citizens of India for good practices and habits towards energy saving.
The last date of submission is 5th December, 2014.
The winning entries will be awarded cash prize as under:
1. First Prize - Rs. 25,000/-
2. Second Prize - Rs. 15,000/-
3. Third Prize - Rs. 10,000/-
There will be three prizes for third position and Rs 10,000/- will be awarded to each winner.

We are dependent on energy for all our needs, and so is energy on us for its sustainable and proper use. It is not government policies and five year plans which will bring this chaos of depleting and constantly getting expensive energy resources to a relief. It will be our generous and good will to conserve and use energy resources around us properly, for the good of both man and nature. So, the emergent need of generating public awareness for conserving energy is conveyed by logo.

This logo is in current BEE color. It is in leaf shape, which states nature. Whereas, two colors Green and Blue transforms nature growth, and conservation trust and calmness respectively. Space between two hands is a shape of energy.
