Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) seeks entries for an innovative designing of a logo for National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation. The objective of this national campaign is to create awareness among the citizens of India for good practices and habits towards energy saving.

The last date of submission is 5th December, 2014.

The winning entries will be awarded cash prize as under:

1. First Prize - Rs. 25,000/-
2. Second Prize - Rs. 15,000/-
3. Third Prize - Rs. 10,000/-

There will be three prizes for third position and Rs 10,000/- will be awarded to each winner.

In present prospects there is continuous cycle of Planet's (Earth) energy to electrical energy to the human energy (Body, Mind and Soul). So save energy to save human being and its existence.

This logo is designed on the principle of minimalism, simplicity and Law of closure. Wind mill, which is one of most ancient source of energy has been designed in most simplest way. Lock is used to depict saving which is portrayed by the key hole. It is placed at the center of the logo in a way that it also forms the base of the turbine. The logo is kept simple and easy to be printed on any surface even with a single color.

We should tell the peoples about saving energy and telling them the importance of electricty. Making them aware about how to save energy and telling them the benefits of saving electricty and they could save money by saving electricty
