Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) seeks entries for an innovative designing of a logo for National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation. The objective of this national campaign is to create awareness among the citizens of India for good practices and habits towards energy saving.

The last date of submission is 5th December, 2014.

The winning entries will be awarded cash prize as under:

1. First Prize - Rs. 25,000/-
2. Second Prize - Rs. 15,000/-
3. Third Prize - Rs. 10,000/-

There will be three prizes for third position and Rs 10,000/- will be awarded to each winner.

This logo inspire me from Social activity. And we can,t promote anything if we are not social. we have to promote and make awareness about that. Round object which gives feel to natural. pure, and simplicity of nature. Because energy is a gift of nature we have to protect.

NACEC encourages all to use energy saver instruments and those also helps to keep our environment healthy (Green) that is shown in the green bulb and 'NACEC' who supports this it's name is also included in the bulb.Those Rays represent that is demand of time so that we can create bright future of coming generation or this is just beginning.. it's dawn, take care of energy, use solar energy as possible as you can..

Logo Explanation It represents an Incandescent bulb with heating filament, usually tungsten coil represented by the Rupee symbol. It sends the message of save energy, save money, save environment. The more bulbs we burn, more money we spend, it will create an awareness in the minds of people. Graphic software used:-Good old MS paint.

We are living in a world of growing technology which is the foundation of our progress and development.Energy in all forms plays an inevitable role in supporting our steady progress today. Thiscomposition has been inspired from our national flag and represents the need of conservation of energy. The saffron and green hands represents all us Indians standing united in support of this movement.The Ashoka chakra has been thoughtfully composed to metaphorically represent energy which is the core.

This logo represents in all the message of conserving energy. Save Energy Save Earth in Green is the depiction of Nature in all.Then the light bulb with green element depicts the source of artificial energy used in today's world. The Orange orb shows the original source of Energy being the Sun. Lastly the Hands holding the whole structure defines the purpose of people coming together and making efforts to conserve energy.
