Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) seeks entries for an innovative designing of a logo for National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation. The objective of this national campaign is to create awareness among the citizens of India for good practices and habits towards energy saving.

The last date of submission is 5th December, 2014.

The winning entries will be awarded cash prize as under:

1. First Prize - Rs. 25,000/-
2. Second Prize - Rs. 15,000/-
3. Third Prize - Rs. 10,000/-

There will be three prizes for third position and Rs 10,000/- will be awarded to each winner.

Save energy and achieve Sustainable Growth of society.We are living in a world of growing technology which is the foundation of our progress and development.Energy in all forms plays an inevitable role in supporting our steady progress today. We need to brainstorm energy conservation ideas to have sustainable growth.

Reuse and recycle the products as much as possible. Use the materials which can be recycled. Use renewable source of energy for conserving the non-renewable resources for clean and green environment. Save natural resources. Use energy efficient CFL bulbs for most used lights as it consumes only 10% of energy consumed by normal light bulbs. Beyond using renewable resources every person has to be self conscious towards utilizing the resources like switching off the lights when not in use.
