Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) seeks entries for an innovative designing of a logo for National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation. The objective of this national campaign is to create awareness among the citizens of India for good practices and habits towards energy saving.

The last date of submission is 5th December, 2014.

The winning entries will be awarded cash prize as under:

1. First Prize - Rs. 25,000/-
2. Second Prize - Rs. 15,000/-
3. Third Prize - Rs. 10,000/-

There will be three prizes for third position and Rs 10,000/- will be awarded to each winner.

As Being The Campaign on Energy Conservation the below Logo depicts As we Have the symbol for Recycling same is the below symbol for energy conservation.The Solar Panels Depict the Solar Energy which Lost Every Second we live on the Earth.This Solar Energy can do away with problem of energy crisis also help save earth.Also Help Conserve the Natural Energy Given By GOD.

This logo inspire me from Social activity. And we can,t promote anything if we are not social. we have to promote and make awareness about that. Round object which gives feel to natural. pure, and simplicity of nature. Because energy is a gift of nature we have to protect.

The outer ring is the symbol for " POWER BUTTON", the green colour hut shows conservation, citizens holding a bulb shows energy saving efforts, the green leaf symbolizes nature. This campaign is a step towards a CLEANER, GREENER AND BRIGHTER INDIA.

The Bachat Lamp Yojana is a scheme developed by Gov to promote energy efficient lighting in the household sector in India. CFLs consume only 1/4th to 1/5th of the energy used by Incandescent Lamps (ICLs) to provide the same level of light. Under the BLY scheme, long-life, quality CFLs would be distributed by investor to grid-connected residential households in exchange of an incandescent lamp (ICL) and at Rs. 15. This would overcome the first high cost barrier of the household sector.
