The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

The Blue colour in the logo depicts Science and Technology, whereas, the triangle in Indian Tri-Colour depicts the digital road to development and the edge it would provide to India. It also symbolises that India can achieve greater heights in all spheres thru digitisation as a success tool. Name: Digital India, Punchline: Digital Highway to Developed India
