The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

Logo symbolises the integreti, getting into one but connected. I used chakra the symbol of our country with surrounded forwarded towards the centre of chakra. the 7 human represent the 7 days of a week along 24 hour by spokes of chakra, the colour of human raises from dark to bright with green the earth, blue the sky and dark the night representing cycle of our life and moving with chakra.

The logo designed keeping our nation flags colors in mind, where orange color is for sacrifice, white is for peace and green for prosperity. Today, we are in the era where country is known by its digital knowledge and we are the youngest country in the world with its skilled digital manpower in ICT. In this logo it has been tried to show country can achieve it historic position (e.g. Jagatguru) in the world with the use of ICT, in addition to servicing to its last standing citizen.
