The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

The logo for Digital India has been designed in the shape of moving globe having background sound of earlier Doordarshan (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-7JmGB9BRA) which indicates beginning of digital scenario here in India. Further the Indian Map resemble the rising India globally- Green India & Clean India & Caring India way. Having Digitalisation network all over world for the benefit every one.The concept of Creating Digital India - The7 Ps way can also be shared online as a next step.

My vision of 'Digital India' is that of fast paced growth and improved technology deep rooted uniformly across all parts of India. I have tried to bring out the same through this visual using various elements. Please do vote of you like my concept :)

Tagline:'Digital India-Reaching you always'. The centre idea of logo is mobile through which the noble idea of digital india can be acheived. Now a days even a poor people can posses mobile. Even common people can get service at their finger tip, just by pressing keypad of mobile.
