I have been working on SWM Projects with Athena Infonomics for couple of years. I would like to suggest ideas on how these initiatives can be actuated on the ground. Traditionally, a lot of technological advancements have been introduced at the waste disposal / recycling stage. It is also imperative to identify solutions across the entire value chain. A detailed approach can be downloaded from this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2qfOuOgIwLwZUlPcWt4Tmd5bTQ/edit?usp=sharing

At Maharashtra enviro power ltd, which is located at MIDC Ranjangaon, Tal- Shirur, A plant is working for Hazardous Solid waste management. Using plasma gassification technology which is a environment friendly process the industrial solid hazardous waste turn into virtified slag which is non hazardous and can be used for various purpose like bricks and pavor blocks. This technology can be helpful for our cities solid waste management. I was one of the team member who commissioned this plant.

MyGov task of identifying ’50 SELECT CITIES & 150 TOWNS’ for Pilot Projects on Solid Waste Management has been elaborated throu a PPT presentation in Part – A. Part B of the presentation has been devoted to the area, how these actions can actually be actuated to the ground. Every Indian city or Town is important and in a way, has contributed to the nation building & no city or no town, in any way, can be called as inferior or superior…we can only measure ourselves together, as ONE INDIA !

Pondicherry. It has a large number of tourists and the infrastructure has collapsed completely. There is stagnant, sewage, the main roads are filled with pots holes, minimal garbage collection....the list is endless.
