Get top institutions involved. Re-educate children on greatness of Ganga in schools. Parents have to take a pledge to teach children morals, cleanliness and patriotism. Volunteers can take up the task of reaching out in the community to create awareness. Industrial waste has to be diverted elsewhere and recycled. Cameras should be installed. Build toilets. Provide dustbins. The worship materials put in the water have to be filtered and that water has to be recycled before joining the mainstream.

set up as many unemployed youths to collect 500 rupees penalty if anybody found polluting GANGA with mandatory collection of rs.2500/- per day

1)install electric crematorium ban disposing bodies ,give urn or ashes of bodies in a small degradable capsules. to be disposed in ganga waters ,have toilets and bathing areas some distance from the shores of ganga and allow only symbolic bathing after taking bath in the govt run bathrooms , ban soaps detergents and flowers and plastics in the near vicinity provide eating place far from the shores. since hawkers and shop keepers are banned from near the shores of ganges for their livelihood make them paid volunteers to fore see the arrangements . so if this works well corpse will be burned in the crematorium and the ashes will be given in a small degradable capsule to be thrown into the ganges,relatives will collect the sample take a bath in the bathroom provided by the government use the toilets provided and eat in the eating places provided by the govt or eateries or hotels provided for the specific purpose and proceed to ganga to throw the capsule containing the ashes and take a symbolic dip in the ganga without using soap or detergents. ban effluents from factories flowing into the ganges.introduce fishlings in large numbers to clean whatever debris that is left over in spite of all these steps

Stop throwing s of flowers & remnants after religious rituals in Ganga+ stop bathing, washing etc all activities which pollutes the river +STOP flow of ALL INDUSTRIAL , HUMAN & ANIMAL WASTES + local volunteers supported by local administration to be engaged to carry out above jobs + programme for mass education to be started for their active participation without which success is impossible

Encourage engineering college students from purvanchal to consider the clean ganga mission as part major project of their engineering graduation. Consider involvement of priests and other saints for preventing throwing of pooja items in river Municipal corporations maintain adequate of garbage collection with a foot note "use me and save river" Make Parshad of adjoining area responsible for maintaining cleanliness make his report card monthly and public in news paper.

To make the clean-ganga river.Govt should declare 5 km from right side & left side of ganga as protected area.And plant tree on both side of the ganga with big trees,herbal plant and other things to make the ganga clean and environment also improve in the ganga passing area .
