Security guards should be posted to every place on the route of ganga. who would restrict washing clothes, throw of garbage etc .If this would be done at each places slowly the dirt would be reduced. SECONDLY an article number should be introduced according to which NOT burning the dead bodies and throwing in ganga would be punishable act.THIRDLY Industries should be given a notice for not depositing the wastes in ganga. The waste needs to be collected n hadle over to the waste management dept.

1) Main problem is ashti visargan in Ganga. It can be done at Gangasagar from their it can directly go to Sea. 2) All th pollutants from Industry can be released to some other source, such as ponds can be made 3) CCTV can be installed at Ghats and closed monitoring should be done 4) Initiative can be raised in school, colleges corporate to create an awareness amont people for our holy mother. 5) Separate corners should be alloted for taking bath. Wherein water could be bought through Pipes and everyone can take bath through Showers.

The most important part of cleaning of a river is stop maligning it. If we stop industries to put their dirty water in Ganga, and find alternate dumping for sewerage, a large part of cleaning process will be done by Ganga herself. Sewage of bank cities must be integrated with biogas production system.

1. Strict measures to reduce waste from major cities by implementing current acts by considering municipal corporations totally liable for this. 2. Separation in stream of flow at major Ghats and cleaning of water before it mixes with main river 3. "Sulabh Shouchalaya" and "Nirmalya kalash" as provided in Pune-Mumbai during Ganeshotyava 4. Penalizing the Firm which will dump untreated waste in the river and including river and bank development in CSR 5. Strict implementation of laws

Usually source control is the best method for cleaning up flowing waters. However, a hard approach will face local community opposition citing socio economic reasons. While hard policy decisions are the only long term solution, few measures can improve the situation meanwhile to a significant and perceptible extent. Attached are the suggestions.
