Electronics Sector is a critical Sector of the Indian Economy. It is one of the pillars of “Make in India” and “Digital India” programs of the Government.
Keeping in view that the Electronics Manufacturing Sector holds a great potential in the Indian context, and there has been a gap between the achievement and the potential of this sector, NITI Aayog has prepared a Draft Strategy Paper for Make in India in Electronics.
This Strategy paper titled Make in India - Strategy for Electronic Products has been uploaded on NITI Aayog’s website and can be accessed here: http://niti.gov.in/writereaddata/files/document_publication/Electronics%...

We would appreciate valuable comments and inputs on the Strategy Paper from relevant stakeholders and public at large by 15th June 2016.

I belve der r sum gud comments below, hwevr coming 4m Electronics Industry i relaize dat imp thing s to develop d basic skill level and mindset. The problem s high ambition n heavy focus on education qualifcation only - creativity n skills r not apprecitied @ many levels in private n gov sector. The need s 2 develop better skills n mindset than just degrees in schools. The school/college structure shall focus on more praticality than just theory n corprts shall support dis chng instd just degree

Cut down imports gradually creating demand for indigenous products. Active participation of all knowledge centres like research labs, IITs etc must be sought to create knowledge centres and hubs which can undertake feasibility study. But foremost we must endeavour to impart adequate skill to the workforce. Out education standards and institutes have to measure up to this challenge. Assistance from experienced players must be sought. A skilled engineering base must be built to achieve this dream

A detailed roadmap to progress the electronics manufacturing industry is a pre-requisite. Start with baby steps and scale up and laterally as the required expertise is developed. It is quite difficult to build a complete manufacturing industry from a scratch. Assistance from established players must be sought for technology and skill transfer. -Involve existing MNCs/Private sector industries -Provide incentives/SOPs -Guarantee consumption, provide facilities like electricity, water and logist

The electronic clusters should be developed around coastal belts to save transportation of goods.clusters should consist of a premier institute to train ITI,Diploma,Btech,MS,PhD guys along with developmental projects on the manufacturing plants in the same cluster. One cluster should be developed only for making of semiconductors out of silica, other cluster should be for only PCB fabrication, other cluster only for recycling of electronics wastes, planned to reach end product at shipping port.

First change labour rule, More flexible, when worker do not have any guaranty with employer how long they will work with them then why employer. Make compensation of three month salary to worker to search other job. Unwanted Govt employee interference to factory, provide help to factory for pollution control responsibility must be with Govt not company. they will pay ( like USA.)
