Employee linked incentive schemes and Labour codes: The Hon Finance Minister announced incentive schemes tied to employment in the previous budget, but these have not yet been put into action. There is a pressing need for the formal introduction of these employment-linked incentive schemes as soon as possible. Additionally, there is a demand for clear guidance on the timeline and process for the enactment of the new central labour codes.

India's retail market is growing fast, with an expected annual growth rate of 9% from 2019 to 2030. It's predicted to jump from $779 billion in 2019 to $1.4 trillion by 2026, and then to more than $1.8 trillion by 2030. The “direct selling” market is also on the rise, likely to hit $7.77 billion by 2025. During the festive season from October 7 to December 1, 2024, India's retail market grew by 7% compared to the same time in 2023.
