The Ministry of Civil Aviation has issued draft rules to ensure ease of using drones in India on the basis of trust, self-certification, and non-intrusive monitoring. The Drone Rules, 2021, once notified, will supersede the UAS Rules, 2021, which came into force on March 12 this year.

The Rules aim to make the process of owning, possessing, exporting, importing, manufacturing, trading, leasing, operating, transferring, or maintaining a drone in India, simpler and hassle-free. For that, the draft rules seek to abolish the requirement of various approvals, ranging from certificate of conformance, certificate of maintenance, import clearance, to student remote pilot licences.

Besides, it proposes the development of drone corridors for cargo deliveries and a drone promotion council to be set up to facilitate a drone-friendly regulatory regime in the country.

Click here to view The draft of Draft Drone Rules, 2021, which is issued for public consultation for seeking feedback and suggestions.

The last date of submission is August 5, 2021.

Each private drone in india should have two controls-active and inactive. Private drone owner should have active control and government by default have inactive control. Inactive control or government control should be prioritise over active control means in any odd situation government inactive control should work and become active control and owners active control will not and become inactive. So each drone mobility will be in the hand of indian government in keeping view of national security.

Every private drone should licensed by indian government and every licensed drone in india should have tracking device of indian government so that each drone in india can tracked by indian government and if any external drone enter in india or fly within indian territory it can be caught by indian government.

or only government can make drones. all e commerce site like flipkart and amazon needs to send it for approval from government before flying. if they dont want to go through this process they can directly buy government made drones which is a huge income for government. government can also have tie ups with these companies and develop multiple hybrid drones

drone validation is mandatory any drone that is flying needs to have license / permit. all drones must be monitored like cellphones. every drone that comes into contact with unregistered drone must send complain to police. the drones are allowed to fly within drone towers and feed no fly zone needs to be pre programmed. also the cops must have authority to shut down any drone suspicious
