The Ministry of Civil Aviation has issued draft rules to ensure ease of using drones in India on the basis of trust, self-certification, and non-intrusive monitoring. The Drone Rules, 2021, once notified, will supersede the UAS Rules, 2021, which came into force on March 12 this year.

The Rules aim to make the process of owning, possessing, exporting, importing, manufacturing, trading, leasing, operating, transferring, or maintaining a drone in India, simpler and hassle-free. For that, the draft rules seek to abolish the requirement of various approvals, ranging from certificate of conformance, certificate of maintenance, import clearance, to student remote pilot licences.

Besides, it proposes the development of drone corridors for cargo deliveries and a drone promotion council to be set up to facilitate a drone-friendly regulatory regime in the country.

Use of drones should be promoted in disaster areas to provide relief to disaster affected people like sending them medicines, food etc. So this technology use should be limited in accordance with public welfare from government and government should try to draft rules so that their is no compromise with national security or people's right to privacy. Government rules for use of this technology should be this kind that it can beneficial for citizens and for national growth.

Drones are type of technology and technology may also be used for evil purposes and technology may fail. So drones use in populated areas should be fully restricted. Only government can use drones in high populated areas this should be a provision. Whether there is question of ecommerce or home delivery, drones use should be limited to difficult places to go like mountain areas, flood areas etc. means drones should not used in populated areas. Mostly ecommerce companies in india are foreigners.

Use of drones should be limited to less populated or unpopulated area. For highly populated area use of drones should be restricted. No limit drone use in populated areas can also create air conflict with the violation of right to privacy. Drone is a type of technology and technology may fail, so drone should not used in dense populated area. Drones may loose control when it is difficult to control these.

Drones use area should be limited because limitless area of drone use can severe threat to national security, citizens right to privacy. For example if drone is used for recording purposes it should be used in limited area and limited height, for e-commerce it should have height measures and camera recording rules for agriculture they should be used with new technologies of agriculture. Drones should not used in highly populated area.

Drones may loose control, in this situation it is difficult to use drones. Drones used in agriculture, e-commerce home delivery, recording purposes etc. Drones should not disturb living population. Use of drones should be limited to less populated area, agriculture, difficult places etc. Use excessive Drones may be severe threat to right to privacy. Drones can also create noise and disturbances. So their use should be limited.
