A good on-line continuous evaluation system(Test) is a must for teachers and administrators(Principal etc.) who are running school education. The promotions, increments and incentives should be linked to this evaluation along with analysis of teacher viz. student performance and a student feed back system.

First-Aid/Life Saving Basic education to children in various classes at school: There are times when an adult or child is stuck in a medical emergency situation & most of us are unable to handle such situations before any medical aid reaches. If we teach our children some basic first aid techniques while at school, we can possibly save a life. For e.g. 1)How to recognise the kind of attack(asthma, heart, epliletic 2)How to help somebody who gets such attack, 3)Snake bite, 4)Burns,head injury, etc.

Throughout history of modern India till date, I have not seen a more accurate analysis on Indian education system than by Lala Har Dayal. He was a rationalist & freedom fighter, who travelled abroad, lived in America & founded Ghadar party there. He died in 1930. And I have not heard of a single person as good as him in analysing our educational problems. His analysis is freely availble here: http://www.hindustanbooks.com/books/our_educational_problem/OurEducationalProblem.html

Former CJI, Shri R.S. Pathak, said, “It is not enough to provide education without a moral value base. Where social habits are established and determined largely by technology, there is a certain distance between the human spirit and the application of that technology.… despite the play of power determinants operating within social forces, human society constantly sought sustenance and direction from a moral code. In the ultimate analysis, it is the moral principle that holds the world together"

In State of Uttar Pradesh vs Ram Sewak and Ors. [AIR 2003 SC 2141], Supreme Court said, “Penal laws howsoever deterrent are inadequate to prevent crimes unless there is change brought about in the way of life, thinking and outlook of the members of the communities against each other in villages and cities of this country. Such a social change can be realised not only by making laws but imparting sound moral education and spiritual upliftment of the people.”

In Ms. Aruna Roy And Others vs Union Of India And Others [(2002) 7 SCC 368] Apex Court said, “Past five decades have witnessed constant erosion of the essential social, moral and spiritual values and increase in cynicism at all levels. We are heading for a materialistic society disregarding the entire value based social system. Society where there are no moral values, there would neither be social order nor secularism. Bereft of moral values secular society or democracy may not survive.

Moral values are of primary importance for a healthy development of the individual and the society. Due to this erosion of moral values corruption has encompassed all walks of life so much so that it is now accepted as part of life. On my petition, the Delhi high Court directed [order dated 08.01.2014 in WP (C) 62 of 2014] the government to examine the suggestion to make moral and value education a compulsory part of curriculum from nursery to university stage.
