PM Sir. Today, I noticed visitors to a public park looked for & could not find a dustbin in a colony’s public park in Delhi & finally dumped their picnic garbage & empty bottles in a flower bed. For Swach Bharat Abhiyan, respective authorities like Municipalities, Panchyats, DDA, Local Associations responsible for maintenance of public spaces must provide suitable receptacles for collection of garbage. Further, there should be a proper periodical, supervised cleaning of these receptacles.

I would like to point out that our goverment entity indian railaway has a very primitive method of stool collection of its passengers who travel in train.Due to which when train stops at station and passengers use toilets their excreta is dropped on the tracks and in turn it is allegedly by manual scavengers.Which promotes manual scavenging and is counter productive to indian government's modernisation of railways.

Punish those who employ people for manual scavenging. Make them do their own manual scavenging in public. This should be deterrent enough. And of course you will have to rehabilitate those involved in the task, it may not be easy to educate them all but they can be employed in some suitable jobs.

Pradhan Sevakji. Hivre Bazaar village in Maharashtra has made such a dramatic transformation from a drought-stricken village to a propsperous green village through soil, water conservation, crop management and community participation through Mr. Poapatrao Pawar's brilliant vision. If the same approach is implemented in the rest of the villages, it could transform our entire nation.
