Education up to higher secondary level must be strictly in mother tong only. Other languages can be taught additionally. It is very painful to see that now a days when anyone apply for certain job interview then first question comes "From which board or medium you have studied?" Exam board or medium of education must not be a criteria to judge the talent of anyone. Hence Education up to certain level must be strictly in mother tong to avoid any conflict between languages & exam boards.

Our country India is indeed a progressive nation. and knowing a foreign language helps in learning new culture and new people. In a world of globalisation one should learn foreign languages to step ahead. so given a chance to the Students to learn foreign language is an opportunity to stand with and to walk with today's world and the need.

The purpose of learning is growth. When you learn a foreign language, you are able to get an insight into that language's culture & you also get to see your own culture from a new perspective.Due to growing economic relations between India & various countries of the world, knowing a foreign language gives one the much-needed edge.I feel that students should get an opportunity of learning a foreign language inspite of making it a political issue as it is badly affecting the future of many students.

Day by day we are progressing towards a critically integrated world economy. With several important ties (especially those of trade and commerce) shared by the world's nations, we are gradually turning into world citizens. Opportunities - be it in career or business are no longer restricted to the national borders. Our education and training should be in tune with this broader vision. I believe training in foreign languages exposes one to this reality better and widens our vision and choices.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe once said "Those who know nothing of foreign languages knows nothing of their own" and with experience I have also realised the same. So I feel that learning foreign languages thesedays is very important. It not only makes us learn new cultures , gives us better career opportunities ,but also gives us an insight of our own culture. Hence according to me knowledge of foreign languages also enables us to understand ourself & our culture and helps us grow individually.
