- scrap old buses polluting - we see daily many - stop registration or sales of petrol autos -only allow lpg and cng autos fresh sales - make electricity mini bikes cheaper. I would rather buy am electric bike then scooty - increase cng buses and ask people to use them - plan metros everywhere even when there is much public in some places. - future scope planning of areas getting populated should be forecasted and local transport like metros should be built seeing 30 years future scope

Continuation from previous post... 5. Road works and maintenance should be on hold during peak hours...... 6. Employees should be given tax rebates if they stay close to work. 7. The landlords should be given tax rebates if they rent their apartments to employees who live close the offices. They will start looking for such employees and employees in turn will be looking for such landlords, this creates a new environment for green movement.

There are multiple ways to save Petrol and Diesel. 1. Staggering the work hours of offices will ease the congestion. For this the companies must volunteer to stagger their work hours. 2. Companies could be rewarded when they hire employees who live close by. 3. Companies could be rewarded when they offer work-from-home to employees at least one a week. 4. The lorries and truck should be taken off the reads during peak hours. ...... more in my next post...

Prof.Sadhana Nikam Chalisgaon Avoid use of petrol & diesel once in a week is a valuable initiative given by primeminister. To save fuel for future generation & to avoid pollution it is necessary. For metropolitan cities fuel consumption & increasing pollution is a severe problem which increase global warming & also severe health hazards.Hence to avoid all this use of bicycle is the best alternative.

Few suggestions: 1. Provide cycle to be hired at railway stations/bus stand. Advertisement on these cycles could generate maintenance cost (along with income from hiring). 2. Introduce cycle card for citizen and link it with associated benefits (like priority in rail ticket booking). 3. Banks could be encouraged to provide incentives in service for customers who regularly reduce fuel consumption (can be verified through bank statement, will increase digital payment). 4. Promotion of Rideshare app

it's Indian citizens habit that they don't follow until unless they are forced by law and regulations or there is mass movement. There must be heavy registration fee on the 2nd vehicle like we see abroad. To encourage growth of auto sector governments are playing with the health of poor innocents who also have equal right to live on this planet. For ones luxury another is paying through bad health. Understand living is important not luxury. I see people littering around coz there is no penalty

WORKING PUBLIC IN GOVERNMENT / PRIVATE SECTOR ON HIGHER MANAGEMENT/SENIOR POSITIONS SHOULD TRY AND SHARE THEIR VEHICLE WITH OTHER COLLEAGUES OF THE ORGANISATION TO AVOID /REDUCE THE USAGE OF PETROL /DIESEL. EVEN MID-LEVEL WORKING PEOPLE CAN SHARE A RIDE WITH THEIR COLLEAGUES ON ALTERNATE DAYS WHICH CAN SAVE A LOT OF DIESEL/PETROL FOR THEMSELVE AND FOR THE NATION.
