वर्ष 2015-16 के दौरान घरेलू मांग को पूरा करने के लिए भारत ने आयात पर 4.82 लाख करोड़ रुपये खर्च किए। आयात का बोझ कम करने के लिए और बेहतर पर्यावरण के लिए, जनता को सप्ताह में एक दिन पेट्रोल/डीजल का इस्तेमाल न करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित/प्रेरित करने का प्रस्ताव है।

हमारे माननीय प्रधान मंत्री ने सभी नागरिकों से सप्ताह में एक दिन के लिए पेट्रोल / डीजल के इस्तेमाल से बचने का आग्रह किया है। उन्होंने कहा है कि अगर 125 करोड़ भारतीयों ने ऐसा करने की प्रतिज्ञा की, तो 'न्यू इंडिया' का सपना हासिल किया जा सकता है।

हर हफ्ते एक दिन के लिए, जनता को पेट्रोल/डीजल का इस्तेमाल न करने के लिए, त्साहित/प्रेरित करने के तरीकों का सुझाव देने के लिए आप सब आमंत्रित हैं।

सुझाव देने की आखरी तारीख 8 अप्रैल, 2017, दोपहर 12 बजे तक है|

SIr, If State govt. can deploy public transport starting from sectors/societies and commuting to specific office destination during office hours and for the rest of the day, those vehicles can be used for other routes also. This way people commuting to a common destination can use the public transport if they are getting them from their location on time.

IMPROVE PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN MAJOR CITIES CENTRAL GOVT SHOULD GIVE TO STATE/CITIES TRANSPORT CORPORATION BUSES IN AID. ALL TWO TIER CITIES LIKE PUNE NAGPUR SANGLI AURANGABAD SATARA NASHIK AND ALL BUSES SHOULD BE GPRS COMPLIANT AND IT SHOULD BE SEEN BY SENIOR MANAGEMENT THAT THE BUSES LEAVES ON TIME FROM DEPOT AS I HAVE SEEN IN MUMBAI AT JAGMOHANDAS MRG NEPENSEA RD THAT DRIVERS DON'T TAKE BUSES ON TIME AND THEN THEY THEN TAKE TWO BUSES TOGETHER OF BUS NO104,135,122.

One way to avoid petrol/diesel use is to observe a car free day every Sunday. Every Sundays the cars/bikes should not be allowed on roads and public to be encouraged to use public transports or bicycle/tricycle.The event should be well advertised in radio/TV in advance to encourage participation from general public.On Sundays generally the load on public transport is less and this is very well doable.I am sure after few weeks, this will become a part of our daily lives. #carfreesunday,

Most of the vehicle running with one ya two passenger due to personal vehicle , allow them to carry passenger as publicly. Daily Up and down employees can take passenger as per available seat in his vehicle ( Means Seat to Seat Passenger) if we do it DELHI/NcR and Other Big cities vehicle crowd will be dis crease and passenger will fill comfort and pollution also will dis crease, Open CNG MAXIMUM Station in NCR Cities so than we can keep good environment. Sir, First of all we need to improve the circulation of Public transport running on time so that commuters can use them 2nd :- If we can implement Friday as No-Vehicle day and reduce the fair of public transport on Friday so that Maximum commuters can use avail the facility at reduced rates. 3rd : If govt. can reduce the fair of Public transport on holidays so that people can give a thought of using public transport at cheaper fair than using their car/Bikes on holidays.

Dear PM, We are ready to move towards the plan, Actually people also thought to live in nature environment. Kindly follow the other countries they provide special road provisions to ride bi-cycles. Please make it on testing model each and every metro city around 30 to 50 Km radios cycling road. Hope our Highway and road department Mr.Nithin may work on that. Please invite innovative solar companies in the world like Tesla motors who will launch luxury affordable electric car to manufacture in India.Provide them with all Tax exemptions like income tax, gst for 5-7 years.Also encouradge domestic electric car & bus manufactures.Also encourage bank lending for solar & wind power generation.Put them as priority sector lending & reduce risk weights.Gradually in 5-7 yrs make all state bus transport electric.

Respected Sir, I totally agree with this great idea and also very much interested to do cycling everyday, which is very good for our health too, but still the roads in which we ride is in very bad condition. And also the heavy vehicles and a rash driving by our own public is also very horrifying. We very much fear of sending our kids to school by cycle due to this. first we should control and correct everything. Thanks for this great opportunity.
