Channelisation works better than compelling, forcing or even requesting! 1. Companies and government enabling work-from-home option saves 90% of fuel consumption 2. Promoting vehicles that are energy efficient, using alternate energy saves huge 3. Invest, achieve break-through technologies for alternate energies by R & D 4. Establish realistic methods to pass benefit to citizens saving energy & fuel 5. Government put unbiased involvement in this effort!

Today is Monday, you are rushing to office, but frustrated of the pollution, I want to go to office and I also want to support my country, but only action can give the result and it should start now. To develop a good habit you have to compromise and struggle, soon the habit will grow you and your surrounding.

1. Encourage people to ride bicycle to work. Designate dedicated temporary lanes for a day which allows you to avoid traffic and reach destination faster. 2. For long distance travelling use cab sharing feature from cab aggregator (make it mandatory for cabs to use alternate fuel). 3. Use of metro or public transportation where ever available. 4. Pool cars with colleagues if you really need to travel.

Carpool / Shuttle is best service. We should provide across all the place connect it with metro stations. Ask company to participate and make the office time similar for all. 2 or more company at same place can start shuttle also the societies can do same way. It would be safe for ladies and will get better transport. #PCRA, #MPNG, #Mygov

Action which i think should be taken: Manufacturing of car/bike/scooter should be limited or less. Make online/apps for cycle on rent for long distance. Promote use of cycle and benefits of it. Improve public transport facility. I have bike, scooter and even car still i and my dad travel with local train in Mumbai as not only aim to save petrol but it make us walk which is good for health.

First we have to ban the luxury vehicles like innova cars which are having high fuel usage and so many people are not using full capacity of the vehicles. so many people are going by single are two and taking the large vehicles like 7 seater and more. first ban these like travels and educate the vehicle sharing method and also educate to use bicycles atleast for a day which is very effective fuel saving way and very effective health saving method

Simple, need to Share the Vehicle one day in a week, with colleague, co-worker, 50 % solution, and this will habit them to keep continue for more than one day, a regular/ daily bases, as currently not thinking to that. 50 % need to use public transport. and little more we can do is to avoid vehicle for small distance and use to walk fuel and health both in benefit. Thanks Piyush.

Make Municipal Public Transport effective and predictable (timeliness, state of the art buses, apps to get real time bus routes/schedules, well cultured workers - they don't respect common man! Nor they treat what they doing is a "service to people"!), and you will see many will stop using personal vehicles. As an incentive, implement pilot project in select cities to make public transport free once a week (on any working day!) and make sure that municipal transport gives great experience!
