The Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to thetop 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Raipur is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, RMC urges the citizens of Raipur to share their opinions and ideas to make your city “Raipur- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to your city!!

Make proper arrangement for waste management in city.Also Good transportation , Toilets and Handwash , Proper parking arrangement are need. Green City must be basic agenda in this.

We are in 2nd stage of Smart City Challenge. And as per MoUD guidlines peoples consese should be taken while arriving any smart city solution. But I dnt think we are reaching all people.We should organize any public event or social functions like gazals,yoga,cycling where people can gathered and their feedback can be taken those who are not techie.

Raipur need industries to develop city, to provide employment, to retain talent which is leaving city and getting somewhere else for job.

smart city doesn't mean anything high fandu. Its city where everyone is safe, sasisfied , easy access to basic amenities. Rest comes later.

स्मार्ट सिटी के लिये शहर में पार्किंग की उचित व्यवस्था होनी चाहिये रोड चौडीकरण होनी चाहिये व्यवस्थित यातायात हो चाहिये

In first steps, we need to concentrate on basic requirements of city like water, electricity, transportation n education. We also need to make strong administration which look into the woman and child development on priority. Make the digital city. Provide WiFi into city.
