The Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to thetop 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Raipur is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, RMC urges the citizens of Raipur to share their opinions and ideas to make your city “Raipur- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to your city!!

Many intellectuals who got employed in some of the finest MNCs fetching them high  salaries have returned home basically to be with Family. If we something like IT parks, Techno Parks etc etc where MNCs will be allowed to establish their offices these guys can work here using their best of brains.

Smart City where we will be able to get all opportunities to expose ourselves, express ourselves, use ourselves, find ourselves where we are, train ourselves....

Need of hour, dream of future generations, inclusion in global village, exposure of potentialities in terms of tourism, agriculture, horticulture, sericulture, fishiculture, ayurveda. Eco-freindly last but not the it will be a centre of cross cultural & traditional activities that leads to economic prosperity

One big channel or drain need to be plan, passing from high region to lower region touching market area for proper drainage. All roads with proper drainage along with provision for water pipe, power cable & telecommunication cable have to be incorporate. Road along bank of Siang & Sibo Korong needs to revamp in line
