Segmenting groups into various truck drivers/autochalaks, workers - physical labourers should wear langoti/apply ghee on lips to avoid strain on their body. It is the pain b' coz of which they are prone to take it. Pan kiosks should sell water/ghee pouches. I have seen this in Ahd. Actually it is said lack of water balance in body makes it demand for sugar/ and takes form of drug addiction gradually. Provide public toilets is important as people to ctrl themselves resort to tobacco etc.

One more suggestion sir that there should be compulsory dope test for every police personal and who ever found taking drugs should be terminated. I can guarantee you sir that half punjab police officers will lose there jobs. As these people are themselves drug addicts and they promote drugs like opium etc. sir half of the problem will be solved if these police personal start getting terminated from jobs. Even same steps could be taken against politicians. Thanks Sir.

Dear Sir,
First of all, we have to find out the root cause of this why people become addicted for drugs.
Their Family plays the most important roles to save their child for this addiction.
SANSKAR hamare desh ke dharohar hai. yedi humare sanskar ache honge tho bacho ki neev majbut hoge..aur humara bharat desh ke log swayam he aacha ho jayega.
Followings are some points
1) Government has to more strict on Drug Policy.
2) Before doing anything we have to listen to our Conscience.

Inability to face frustrations and reality or failure gives Drugs as an option to escape. If parents, friends, family and teachers provide emotional support and attention often the child ahs an outlet to express and build confidence. Lack of emotional intelligence, too much control and ritualistic reprimands often lead the budding adult to find ways of solace in drug escapes. The police often are corrupt and participate in easy availability. Doctors too if they are alert can forewarn the parents.

Hello I am a teacher at BITS PILANI Goa campus.I feel the root cause of the problem is how substance abuse arises in the first case.
All addiction be it to menthol cigarettes and later drugs is generally an instinctual behaviour -due to fulfill some inner desire-it could be pleasure craving for food or opposite sex.
Drug addiction is a manifestion of such things -it requires an emotional understanding of the needs of the younger generation-to help them channelise their energies towards building

drug menace is a serious melaise afflicting Indian society. it needs to be tackled at multiple levels and multiple strategies. first I think unemployed youths are the most vulnerable groups to fall into the trap of drugs. they tend to find solace due to their frustration, insecurity and uncertainty of their future. we need to create more and more job opportunities for the youth of India at as per their skills. our education system needs to provide skill based education and training.

I have seen that such addictions occur because of these reasons :
1. In growing days (6-12yrs age ),these addictions occur because children imitate what they see , so its the resobonsilbity of our elder people to stop practising such things.
2 .In (12-14 age), because of parents carelessness ,due to involvement of higher class parents in their jobs(not giving time to their children) ,in low income families (beacuse they hardly care where their child is ) and these two reasons are sufficient for
