During the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Radio programme, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared that a large number of people have been talking to him about the increase in usage of drugs. The Prime Minister described this as a very serious issue and assured that he will talk about the menace during the next ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio programme.

The Open Forums invites you to talk about the menace of drugs. Share how you feel this menace can be mitigated, what steps can be taken to get youngsters out of this. You can share anecdotes – how you saved children from this menace of drugs or if you have had a personal experience. NGOs working in this sphere should contribute. Your contribution would be a major step in freeing India from the menace of drugs.

unemployment and frustration are the 2 main factors which directs one to DRUG ADDICTION. nothing less than death punishment would deter the drug smugglers.THE MEDICAL CENTERS which sell psychotropic drug should be cautioned to issue such drug to the actual users being advised by a specialist doctors. those who defy-there would be life imprisonment. EXTENSIVE AWARENESS CAMPAIGN TO MAKE PEOPLE AWARE OF THE MENACE IS A MUST. A GOVT AGENCY TAKING NOTE OF AND TAKING PREVENTIVE MEASURE IS A MUST

Usage of drugs is possible if we manage to reduce and stamp out the demand. If there is demand there could be supply. Each educational institution should put in place a system to tackle the menace and also a whistle blower system, through which any student without disclosing the name of such student be able to report any drug use. The intention should not be to punish the user but to correct him though counseling and professional help and also to identify and stamp out network of drug peddlers.

My PM, I ve seen people using medical cough syrups nd other tablets as a means of Drug to intoxicate themselves nd this later put them addicted to drugs. So i suggest that there should be zero tolerance for the pharmas selling such drugs and these drugs Must be made available only in Govt hospitals., that too shld be given only on the submission of ID of patient and repetitive patient shld b questioned. And beggers on road specially in hi profile areas are banks of drug suppliers and consumers.

Say No TO Drug is a good program , sirf naare lagane se kuch nahi hoga , sarkar ko action lena hai to in sab ki khaiti ,karkhane band karna hoga na rahega bass na bajegi basuri .... warna delhi rape rally me to wo log bhi samil jo baad me rape karte hue fase hai or pakde gaye ... rally se kuch nahi hone wala in sab ki busness ko band karna hoga .. agar mai kahu to pahle ITC ko band koro. Sabse jada tax milta hai to band kaise hogi idhar dhanda bhi karna hai or Say no to Drugs .

Adopt a strict no-nonsense policy. If an official/minister is clean, then he/she has nothing to fear about. As for the corrupt, I am sure our country has more than enough resources to replace them. It is very necessary to instill fear in the minds of EVERY citizen against any wrong doing. And even the rich should be targetted. Curb corruption and half of the things will be solved.

Its impossible to clear any type of drugs addiction in one go. so make a some rule to limit the amount of drug item purchasing by individual person, like making card for this. These item should available in register shops & store only and for above restricted age group. We may add this with the movement Swach Bharat Abhiyan, its also like a dirty thing in person itself.
