Our forces really need to target the supply networks of these illicit substances. People need not only to be educated about the ill effects of using drugs but also given something else to occupy themselves with. For this, our police force will have to be serious about cracking down drug rackets and declining often high amounts of monetary gain usually associated with drug networks. We need to start accepting drug users in main stream society to know they are welcome as they are neglected.

Police is aware of drug rackets in their areas, so there needs to be a system of reporting and cracking down on such cases, which is not SEEN, for all vested interest. For this Police station should be under-survellences and effect survellence system on whole city and outskirts connected by highways. Drugs usuage is also high on Highways and main reasons for accidents by Heavy Vehicles as Truck drivers do boose and drugs cannot be detected without blood test.

Our laws and the law book as well as the statute are the best in the world while our law enforcement and law abiding are the worst. There can be no compromise. There is only one solution, Redesign the post of Police Constable, the interface between the main enforcing agency, the Police and the people. Entrust the selection and training process of constables to a non-police independent authority,.Only then change in their mindset will be achieved. A.G.K. MURTHI. agkmurthi1@rediffmail.com

Training related to develop tourism in village , innovative ways for agriculture as they believed that agriculture is no more a profitable profession. If they will be engaged in these kind of activities then they will not have time to get addicted to drugs n other menace .

scientists / pharmacists shall be given task to invent pills / injections which can generate nausea for a particular drug like chars, ganja, brown sugar etc. the pill / injection may not be effective for all the drugs but must act on one type of drug at least.

The second target group is middle age people..who face stress due to economic condition, work pressure, financial burden, unhappy family life and sometimes peer pressure. Rest all is not workable..as it comes with development, only thing that can be done by Govt is create an infrasture for curbing and controlling them which is sustainable for a long long time and which has a process of verification of its effectiveness on regular basis.

Hello H'nbl PM, I belong to a village Sunderpur in distt Jind . In my village also many youngsters are addicted to drugs. I have analysed that they got tilted towards this menace since they have nothing to do and this emptiness in their life prompt them to adopt drugs n other menace . My advise to mitigate this menace is that they should be engaged in kind of creational activities like sports, rural tourism development , etc. There must be a small sports arena , training prog for youths

Education, Education, Education is only solution! We are missing our roots. we need to have one storytelling subject where inspiring storytellers tell various stories in this space and inspire students. this is only solution. any other solution is only temp and fail subsequently.
