During the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Radio programme, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared that a large number of people have been talking to him about the increase in usage of drugs. The Prime Minister described this as a very serious issue and assured that he will talk about the menace during the next ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio programme.

The Open Forums invites you to talk about the menace of drugs. Share how you feel this menace can be mitigated, what steps can be taken to get youngsters out of this. You can share anecdotes – how you saved children from this menace of drugs or if you have had a personal experience. NGOs working in this sphere should contribute. Your contribution would be a major step in freeing India from the menace of drugs.

Respected Sir,Education to children in lower classes should be made easier and friendly. Now a days the students are tired of carrying heavy School bags full of books . The School authority also does not guide properly of their actual courses and as a result they need to carry maximum books. Also Sir I would like to highlight you that maximum Schools are only running business and not concerned about the quality of Studies. So I feel that we need first the quality of studies for better India

The people who are already arrested and are out on bail (it is ridiculous in India that such people get bail by the court!) should be hanged first. Any drug trafficker will think 1000 times before supplying drugs next time. Meanwhile, the victims should be rehabilitated and counselled.

It also starts from school life of a person. because, its well foreseen by our ancestors that, " Mata, Pitha, Guru Aur Eishwar". After all, the first inspiration comes from the parents and the next longer period of our life is bonded inseparably with teachers. it becomes a binding on every teachers to live a life of example that would provide a positive inspiration to their students to use their potential energy in productive way to uplift their own family and inturn uplift their country globaly
