Apart from all the reasons of drug consumption,most important is the feeling of relax that comes after consuming it.Since,today as the lives have become quite hectic,people have become more prone to come under depression.Therefore,they head towards taking drugs and other such anti-depressant,which consequently deplete their conditions. To fight this,we need to: i)setup counselling centers in offices,colleges,schools. ii)setup "AFEEM ROKTHAM SOCIETY",central institute to curb drugs production.

We should celebrate Parent-Child Days during the year where parents spend 24hrs with their kids. This will allow for better parent-child interaction and help identify the reasons on why kids get into drug addiction. Unconditional love and support from parents will definitely empower our kids to fight the drug menace.

Our enforcing agencies have to be made more efficient and more sincere. Our police force has not unfortunately changed from the days of the British for whom Indian Police was nothing but a bunch of hooligans for enforcement of their nefarious plans and they were purposely kept lowly paid so that they remain corrupt and easily corruptible. It was expected of a government of a sovereign country to make this fundamental change but successive governments never bothered about this.

There are many angles to this problem. Education ( rather lack of it), Wrong role models ( songs such as Chaar Bottle Vodka, kaam mera roz ka), working hard being out of vogue in our society, lack of opportunities/incentives to vent out youthful energies in games, studies, IT etc. in villages/towns & cirites, Looking for shortcuts rather than relying on inteligence, hardwork, lack of exposure to the bigger world, lack of encouragement to behave responsibly , Insecurities which lead to individuals to look out for drugs which help bolden the self image ( temporarily)....Lack of engagement activities, Show off being the norm in the society...Absence of job opportunities in the exisitng set up itself...to sum it all up " Empty Mind is a Devil's Workshop"...Need to keep our youth enegaged in sports, studies & identify & demonstarte positive role models
