During the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Radio programme, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared that a large number of people have been talking to him about the increase in usage of drugs. The Prime Minister described this as a very serious issue and assured that he will talk about the menace during the next ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio programme.

The Open Forums invites you to talk about the menace of drugs. Share how you feel this menace can be mitigated, what steps can be taken to get youngsters out of this. You can share anecdotes – how you saved children from this menace of drugs or if you have had a personal experience. NGOs working in this sphere should contribute. Your contribution would be a major step in freeing India from the menace of drugs.

Research on placebo proved that the role of so-called allopathic medicines is about nil, psychology of taking matters in curing. According to Discovery channel in Neotic Science canter California, Cancer patients are cured without medication on correcting emotions. Recently Paracetamol is found cause of Blood Cancer which was supposed the safest. Increasing number of Brain hemorrhages, Kidney failure, Paralysis, Cancer are due to drugs. So it is necessary to insist advance curing drugless system

Need to look why people turn towards drugs. 1. Mostly illiteracy, unemployment, poverty. Our country is not ensuring education, employment to people. Government must make education free of cost in government schools at least till graduation level and guarantee employments through employment exchanges etc. A citizen must feel proud born in this country than living on mercy of God. Indian population is vast and needs to be curtailed and high time government advocates one child policy.

Mr Prime Minister, let me put here that tobacco smoking in US is decreasing, but at the same time US states are legalizing marijuana. Since 1987, Mental illness in US adults has increased by 2 and half times, and in children it has increased by 35 times. India will move on same path when economy will improve. Root problem -materialism- must be addressed world over. [Refs: (1) Mass psychosis in the US - Opinion - Al Jazeera English. (2) The Epidemic of Mental Illness: Why? by Marcia Angell]
