According to me the main reason behind it, is the lack of understanding and communication within the family. parents are running to earn more n more money to secure the future of their children in this race they are forgetting the LOVE and Care and the most precious thing their time which the children need from them. loneliness within them( the children) leads to this drug menace. parents should talk more and more to their children to make them feel , they are not alone...m sure this will help.

Sir, Everybody is giving the good ideas but it possible only by the 15-20% the main points to eradicate the drug menace is implementing the forum with the students and keep them to watch on a eye to others who are going to the places like drugs(in all colleges and campuses ) where the majority of youth effecting area and then they also be penalized with the amount as well as internal exams and they have to prepare the list and paste the same in colleges notice board if possible...

Solution is in the social fabric itself. Stress in family, work place , schools and colleges are the cause of addictions. Stress management training has to be part of schools, colleges, offices and corporate world. Only then there will be broader perspective of life!

India has conflicting laws about the legality of Cannabis and it's products. At least 4-5 states including UP, Rajasthan, MP and Punjab license the production of Cannabis products such as Bhang, Ganja and Charas and their sale in licensed shops is allowed.
