During the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Radio programme, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared that a large number of people have been talking to him about the increase in usage of drugs. The Prime Minister described this as a very serious issue and assured that he will talk about the menace during the next ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio programme.

The Open Forums invites you to talk about the menace of drugs. Share how you feel this menace can be mitigated, what steps can be taken to get youngsters out of this. You can share anecdotes – how you saved children from this menace of drugs or if you have had a personal experience. NGOs working in this sphere should contribute. Your contribution would be a major step in freeing India from the menace of drugs.

If our education system includes teaching of something which is needed during crisis of life events and what really inner joy is,would make them stronger to the shocks of life. Certainly if they are taught during their early school life, it would show great morality in future generation. Today's education system makes only data containing living creatures rather than creative people.

Comprehensive compaigns against bad effects of drug-intakes through mass media, schools( as a part of compulsary ethical education),through Panchayats in villages can check this menace to a graet extent. Secondly fear of svere punishments to defaulters will also help in checking it. Thirdly creating jobs to unemployed youths who mostly go astray because of satanic mind due to vacant mind will also help in checking drug menace. Fourthly drug-sources be identified and plugged with severe hand.

Major problem with drug addicts is that they want to get rid of drugs but at emotional level they are not strong enough to control the urge for drugs.Medicine helps them but to make them strong we have to give them a dose/taste of meditation which will make them strong emotionally and thus they will get rid of it.As i have worked with addicts meditation gives miraculous results when it is imbibed with medication. So make this mission to have blend of both in Drug de addiction centres...

There must be collective efforts from Parents, Doctors, Druggists & Youngsters. Events like Ekta Daud, etc should be celebrated to involve & educate youth to bring them together for Social Cause, which will also educate youth about glorious history. Confession pages of various students KG to Ph.D. and especially Professional show are literally in big problem. Many Professional students are in problems like depression, anxiety, personality disorders lead to suicide, drink and drugs. As missing concept of Mental Empowerment Psychiatry & Psychology has no solution that students desperately needed. Like Kiss of Love is very serious example of personality disorder. Emotional Engineering is enough to empower to flourish talents without medication
