To reduce mitigate this, people themselfs should generate the believe in themselfs that they could fight without the the use of drug, this mental strengthening will surely conclude in positive, it not like that we should totally avoid it but we can do it for some disease like cough, since no drug in could give u complete cure for cough, it will be cured itself after nearly a week..
So in such cases the drug consumption can be minimised..

The youth should be empowered to take right decisions. This must be done by inculcating right values in schools, colleges, awareness programs on internet, TV, radio, advertisements. Also, the school syllabus must have highlights about ill effects of drugs on the body. Last but not the least, police agency must be made independent of corrupt influence.

We need to find out the sources first. The best way to find out this is from the drug user.He wil have first hand info.Major gateways for drugs are from the region of Nepal,Afghanistan and some African countries. We have a porous border in the Nepal border.Thorough screening must be done by customs at vulnerable entry points. It is told that Punjab is one state where the youth are deep in drugs.Govt agencies should find out the sources and it should be easy with proper intelligence feed back.

Management & control of drug abuse. Do critical study of measures adopted in UN & EUROPE to understand what succeed to manage/control supply and demand sides. Legalise those having medicinal applications. Train investigating team to do the job efficiently, with no corruption. Bring justice to offenders quick and make punishment severe. Public awareness, focusing on schools and colleges, a must. Will be pleased to advise as Sr Citizen if required in finding out of box solutions.

There must be a secret chip attached to drug users without there knowledge because only they can find Saler easily. By tracking there locations and recording of there talks can give accurate information to anti narcotics department. But that is not the right time to react, but after finding head of the all group, there must be arrest at same time and with secret court only they should punished and have t

Being a Hand Writing analyst, i suggest that there are certain features occurring in the writing if that person starts engaging himself in Narcotics. If parents or teachers become concerned, they can easily check whether their kids are going on the wrong path. For that purpose I req Modiji,to plz add a special course on GRAPHOLOGY(Hand writing analysis) for the teachers in School/Colleges.This might provide the needful even before young children going for such devastation called-Drug-addiction
