Solution of evil: Putting an effective counseling for drug De-addiction is necessary. De-addiction centre should be established by the government to provide medical treatment for the addicts. Drug addicts need sympathy. Their case must be handled delicately because this is the only way to win their heart and put them on the right track.

Solution: Places like hostels and campuses of the universities and technical and professional institutions where a big number of students are available should be monitor strictly. A concentrated drive is needed against smugglers, who smuggle various drugs and narcotics into the country. These smugglers must be given strict punishment.

Solution of evil: Best place is home & best teacher are parents to guide a child. Parents should have watch on child activity and take proper care of him/her. If felt necessary, they should talk to child and counsel about bad habit, anti-social activities prevailing in society. The young boys and girls must be made aware of the fact about the rampant use of drugs through study syllabus in general for all streams.

Several reasons are responsible for drug menace. When a child feel lonely or isolated, at this delicate juncture their so called friends, who are themselves drug-addicts, easily mislead them and induce them to find solace by taking drugs and narcotics. Un-authorized/unplanned crowded colonies, easily availability of drugs due to corrupt administration and police, flexible law are also responsible.

Several reasons are responsible for drug menance. It has been seen that youth due to lack of education, awareness, employment, enough parental love and care, go astray. In the modern set up of families both husband and wife are in service and are busy in competition with neighbors, hence they do not care much and consequently are unable to share some time with their child. As a result the young mind feels frustrated and lonely.

The danger from drugs is too great to ignore for our children. No doubt drugs have been used by man from ascent but for medical purposes. Nowadays they are being abused by our young generation most of the time to get a thrill at the persuasion of their friends. Once tasted, it becomes a habit very soon. A big number of students at places like hostels and campuses of the universities and institutions are falling prey to this habit and they are the main target of smugglers.
