Honorable PM. Last month I was in Mcleodganj & Dharamshala, so many foreigners visit this place and this place also has army cantonment..sad part is that there is huge drug abuse happens. This I heard from the locals & friends.. above all there are huge Tibetan settlers are there and 2 Chinese channels also comes I feel. After sometime the way they have occupied Tibet they will instigate the local Tibetans to work against our Country. We need to keep an eye on this

Honorable Prime Minister.
To keep youth stay away from drugs. We have to make our cinema sensor board more strict and with this make strict and strong law for drugs which are harmful for health.
Also we have to take awareness and continously doing bombarding on youth that how drugs are harmful for health and how it will destroy your life.

Psychologically, warnings do not scare them. It only stimulates the desire of consuming more alcohol/drugs/cigarettes/tobacco.
Hence, developing messages with warnings or adverse effects will only lead to rebellion.
A campaign should rather be based on a message platform on a positive to arouse “rebellion on drug addiction”, showing how exactly victims and the family fought back. Without blaming anyone or proving anyone on legal grounds.

It is a very serious issue involving the future of the country. It needs multi pronged approach. On one hand, the traffickers / peddlers should be dealt with strictly by law and on another hand the addicts need treatment / counseling in form of medical and religious intervention.

I suggest a large amount of fund for combating addiction could be easily generated from corporate houses as a CSR activity, who can earmark 1-2 per cent of their profits for espousing the concept of addiction as a disease. These corporate houses can fund films and TV serials to combat addiction in India on a war-footing. The government too can ask a proposed nodal communication agency to conceive a reality show TO BE AIRED ON NATIONAL TV & PROMINENT TV CHANNELS along the lines of Big Boss.

The menace of drugs can be mitigated by strict compliance of various Directions of Honorable Apex court and High Courts of India. As nowadays lucrative advertisements of Alcoholic beverages are being done under the cover of Music CD's while tobacco based Gutkha are still being sold in paper pouches.Under the philanthropic liabilities of corporate world these unethical practice should be immediately stopped.I want to draw your kind attention that charm of revenue is spoiling the future of youth.
