Suggestions Invited for Monthly themes to be taken as part of the celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until ...

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until October 2, 2020 from October 2, 2018 onwards. Mahatma Gandhi in his seminal book, Constructive Programme Its Meaning and Place had talked about 18 constructive programmes. He had stressed that more programmes could be added as time passed. The 18 constructive programmes included: Communal Unity; Removal of Untouchability; Prohibition; Khadi; Village Industries; Village Sanitation ; Nai Talim or Basic Education; Adult Education; Women; Knowledge of Health and Hygiene; Provincial languages; National Language; Economic Equality; Kisans; Labour; Adivasis; Lepers ; Students.

By involving the above 18 themes in 18 months, six more months would be remaining.

Ideas are invited from the citizens on six more themes to be taken in six months. The ideas should be relevant for our contemporary society.

Those who submit the best themes could be given certificates

Dear Pradhanmantri Ji, current government is doing great job for poor, farmers but they are not aware about there rights and all schems, i want a center in every village or block if possible to explain these schems and visit of officers and MP, MLAs are fixed and from there need to invite all the beneficiary at the meeting point and make an announcement of new schems and there benifits this may will help in spreading the Gov. schems and better way...also i am very much concern about road safety

how to make our roads safe for padestrians and 2 wheel drivers ? the driveing license issuing procedure must br very strict.people below the of 25 years should not be issued heavy commercial vehicle driving license and should not be allowed to drive truck or bus. for driving on state and national highwsys there should be separate category of DL.

government should provide mandi license free to all Farmer producer companies. these companies are collectives of small and marginal farmers.

Farmers producer companies have been promoted by SFAC a body of gov of India for making collectives of small and marginal farmers. but mandi sachiv is deemanding 3 lakh rupees for providing licence to FPO. IF this is happening then it is difficult to take out farmers from debt and doubling the farmers income.

Dear Sir, "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" is one of the major step taken by the government towards making India a great nation but people still don't see the results. In many places we can see that the authorities are not taking their job seriously and only work is being done only to take photos. I think authorities as well as people need to take this mission more seriously and there should be more participation from public in this.

On Mahatma Gandhi's Birth anniversary I request that Indian judicial system should be improved . here many innocent people are accused of crime. and their career gets spoiled.beacaue trials for the case continues for many years. and many people become overaged on completion of case. So I request that before filing a case to court a deep and proper investigation should be made by the police.sometimes a fake chargesheet is prepared by the police and submitted to the court. It should not be done.

Gandhi ji k 150th birth aniversary per sab right time me kam kaj karenge, daptar bhi sahi samay per jayenge, Raste me kahin per bhi kude na feke.. or kahin per kude kachra dikha to utha ke dustbin me dal denge... us din Gandhi ji ke niti adars manke unka janam din mana sakte hai...
