Suggestions Invited for Monthly themes to be taken as part of the celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until ...

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until October 2, 2020 from October 2, 2018 onwards. Mahatma Gandhi in his seminal book, Constructive Programme Its Meaning and Place had talked about 18 constructive programmes. He had stressed that more programmes could be added as time passed. The 18 constructive programmes included: Communal Unity; Removal of Untouchability; Prohibition; Khadi; Village Industries; Village Sanitation ; Nai Talim or Basic Education; Adult Education; Women; Knowledge of Health and Hygiene; Provincial languages; National Language; Economic Equality; Kisans; Labour; Adivasis; Lepers ; Students.

By involving the above 18 themes in 18 months, six more months would be remaining.

Ideas are invited from the citizens on six more themes to be taken in six months. The ideas should be relevant for our contemporary society.

Those who submit the best themes could be given certificates

Respected prime minister, I am stavya Jain and I am a student. I want to say that programmes should be organised for young students, explaining them the life of mahatma gandhi and teach them how gandhi ji faced life's problems

sir iam mahantesh badiger from Karnataka state .i am working at postal depot .in postal depot all gds employees are during in indepenet strike againat central government .for not implement of GDS pay commission report since 29 months ago so pls solve that problem .

माननीय मोदी जी, हमारे राज्य मे एक योजना चल रही है जिसका नाम है साझा चूल्हा, जिसमे आठ, दस बी पीएल महिलाओं का समूह बनाकर चलाया जा रहा है, लेकिन इसमे अध्यक्ष एवं सचिव मालामाल होते जा रहे हैं ।मीनू के अनुसार कभी भोजन नही बनता।हर समूह से 10 से लेकर 30 हजार से जादा पैसे सरकारी खाद्यान्न बचाकर बेचा जाता है, जिसे फौरन बंद किया जाना अति आवस्यक है, हित ग्राही बच्चों को सीधे खाते मे पैसा डालकर लाभान्वित किया जा सकता है।धन्यवाद

sir. In my point of view . my first suggestion would be idea related to Ahimsa. In Ahimsa everything is included like domestic violence. torture by teachers to the students. student to student in the name ragging. violence against women . like acid attacks and rapes. Secondl idea would be Sathya graha. let us say NO to other country products. let us encourage our small scale industries. we must encourage the production of clay toys, jute, mud pots, vessels, natural products must be used.

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी आप आपको बताना चाहता हूँ कि सरकार जो योजना बेरोजगार युवाओं (जैसे मुद्रा लोन) के लिए दे रही है ! ज्यादातर बैंक उसका लाभ किसी गरीब बेरोजगार युवाओं को देने के बजाय पैसे वालों को लाभ दे रही है गरीब बेरोजगार युवा जो खुद का कुछ बिजनेस करना चाहते हैं ! उनसे कहा जाता है कि प्रॉपर्टी मॉर्गेज करो तब यह लोन मिलेगा कंप्लेंट भी करो तो वहां सभी यही रिप्लाई आता है कि प्रॉपर्टी मॉर्गेज करनी पड़ेगी ! महोदय यह सेवा बंद हो जानी चाहिए या फिर इसका लाभ सही लोगों को मिलना चाहिए !

मोदी जी से मेरा निवेदन है कि देश हित के लिए, पर्यावरण पर कोई कानून लाये, जैसे बेटी पढ़ाओं बेटी बचाओ,नोट बन्दी , जी एसटी, योजना थी, उसी तर्ज पर, पेड़ लगाओं ओजना की शुरुआत कर दिजिए, जनता के मन में विश्वाश दोगुना हो जायेगा, लेकिन एक साथ पुरे देश में लागु किजिए,

Sir, these days are some people are converting green park or land into car parking.Therefore, greenery is destroying annd trees are cutting because of this action delhi greenery is in great danger. please stop this type of nucence or save the parlk or land. Thanks
