Suggestions Invited for Monthly themes to be taken as part of the celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until ...

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until October 2, 2020 from October 2, 2018 onwards. Mahatma Gandhi in his seminal book, Constructive Programme Its Meaning and Place had talked about 18 constructive programmes. He had stressed that more programmes could be added as time passed. The 18 constructive programmes included: Communal Unity; Removal of Untouchability; Prohibition; Khadi; Village Industries; Village Sanitation ; Nai Talim or Basic Education; Adult Education; Women; Knowledge of Health and Hygiene; Provincial languages; National Language; Economic Equality; Kisans; Labour; Adivasis; Lepers ; Students.

By involving the above 18 themes in 18 months, six more months would be remaining.

Ideas are invited from the citizens on six more themes to be taken in six months. The ideas should be relevant for our contemporary society.

Those who submit the best themes could be given certificates

प्रधानमंत्री जी मेरा सुझाव आयुष्मान भारत योजना के संदर्भ में जिसके अंतर्गत सभी प्रकार की सरकारी अर्ध सरकारी निजी कर्मचारी व किसान वह सभी प्रकार के नागरिक आएं जिनकी वार्षिक आय 500000से 1000000 के मध्य हो आए तथा व सभी प्रकार की सरकारी मेडिकल सुविधा जैसे सीजीएचएस ईएसआईसी तथा अन्य सभी योजनाओं को इसके अंतर्गत किया जाए तथा प्राइवेट कंपनियों को बाध्य किया जाए की वह अपने सभी कर्मचारियों को इसके अंतर्गत स्वास्थ्य लाभ दिलवाएं तथा एक अलग पोर्टल बनाकर इसको आधार कार्ड के साथ सम्मिलित किया जाए व जांच करें

Remove holiday on Gandhi jayanti. Conduction of elections and result announcement dates must be fixed. Every year which ever election has to be conducted must be conducted only on 23rd January. And the results have to be announced on 26th January, that's on Republic day, The same day newly elected government must be sworn in. It gives some meaning for democracy. And holidays given olny on religious and national festivals as well as on voting day.

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी मेरा एक ही सुझाव है समान नागरिक कायदा. हमे आरक्षण नही संरक्षण चाहिए

theme should be based on what Gandhiji wanted to do. like truth, non violence, cast equality, education, save water, spirituality, self work, fight against corruption and injustice

sir, we should maintain good relation with our fellow citizens, irrespective of caste and creed,and there should be a festival, bringing the diaspora of different caste ,creed, minority, majority,should come together and celebrate the seven colour of rainbow of india with indradhanush ,but without any arrow in it,There is a sound of together ness,and a ANAHAT ,a shiv shiva sound,which World could hear,see and feel abd salute us,It will be a real tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and our country
