Suggestions Invited for Monthly themes to be taken as part of the celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until ...

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until October 2, 2020 from October 2, 2018 onwards. Mahatma Gandhi in his seminal book, Constructive Programme Its Meaning and Place had talked about 18 constructive programmes. He had stressed that more programmes could be added as time passed. The 18 constructive programmes included: Communal Unity; Removal of Untouchability; Prohibition; Khadi; Village Industries; Village Sanitation ; Nai Talim or Basic Education; Adult Education; Women; Knowledge of Health and Hygiene; Provincial languages; National Language; Economic Equality; Kisans; Labour; Adivasis; Lepers ; Students.

By involving the above 18 themes in 18 months, six more months would be remaining.

Ideas are invited from the citizens on six more themes to be taken in six months. The ideas should be relevant for our contemporary society.

Those who submit the best themes could be given certificates

Modiji, Water sortage problem throughout india is a big problem. In the adjacent of three of four village ,a bid pond is needed for rain water harvesting. Government need to find out the area of water sortage. This big ponds can be used for irregation.

Today , Shimla is suffering from water scarcity what we need to fo is to make water to be distributed in a per person way and additional water should be charged.Ans charge shoulld be high and should increase with incresed additional amount consumed

sir , i m Chandan Kumar ,says that i have qualified RRB CEN/2015 (pt,mains,& psychological test) & selected as SM in NFR railway . till date i have not got joining while process started in 2015 .Medical test is done at 29th may 2018 , but still they delaying our joining to August & no any dates for rest 35 candidates .We r from very poor family ,all r dependents on this job & waiting for our joining .Sir if u r pm of poor people then just consider our problems by heartly .NFR RAILWAY r

this is no doubt a proud and important work called" swachh bharat abhiyan". many works have been done also throughout the 4 years and also for 70 years.but in reality we all can feel and see we are going in right direction firmly. is india going to be " swachh" by 2019 or 2022 ?!!.What is the strong and logical planning for it.we only choose some famous places and try to make it "swachh" but I am saying with assertion that aroung 500 mitres of that spot places must be not swachh.plan is the need

sir, we should convert the price rise to advantage. I suggest ( at ₹10 lakhs from mudra loan each) we start a agri waste biogas plant of about 100cm3 supplying cooking gas to about 50 houses. covering 3lakh villages, giving employment to about 30lakh people. replacing 15mbl of crude per year. biogas plants can scaled up 10x later for electricity generation. with sweet potato as input
