Ministry of Electronics and IT has drafted a Data Centre policy to benefit the Data Centre park developers/Data Centre operators as well as the allied ecosystem of the Data Centre sector. The policy envisages making India a Global Data Centre hub, promote investment in the sector, propel digital economy growth, enable provisioning of trusted hosting infrastructure to fulfill the growing demand of the country and facilitate state of the art service delivery to citizens. This document lays out a policy framework including various structural / regulatory interventions, investment promotion in the sector, possible Incentivization mechanisms along with the institutional mechanism required for the governance. The policy framework also seeks to strengthen the recently announced “AatmaNirbhar Bharat” initiative by identifying possible opportunities of manufacturing of Data Centre equipment (IT as well as non-IT) in the country. It also identifies possible areas of participation by MSMEs and Start-ups.

The policy intends to ensure sustainable and trusted Data Centre capacity within the country. This policy framework shall be followed by a detailed scheme with implementation guideline document providing the particulars of various fiscal and non-fiscal incentives to be provided to the sector by the Central and State Government.

For the same, Ministry of Electronics and IT invites citizen suggestions on the Draft Data Center Policy 2020.

good evening Sir, please increase Employee individual IT exemption limit now a days its very essential that. otherwise add some expenses categories for exemption amount

Namaste sir/madam , teachers are pillars of our country not country even whole universe . They are not getting salary on time specially private teachers .they are completely involve in making of future of our lovely child and our great nation but they haras by some students ,even parents . Government should form some law in favour of teachers , government should give some tax relaxation in taxation.

Sir we should take care about cleaning of small towns . In small towns responsible persons are not doing their job promptly. We are only looking about big cities or metro cities but small towns citizens are also Indian they are paying tax on time also but they are not getting facilities like roads , traffic drainage system.

Here, I have attached my idea or suggestions on this topic. In addition to this, we should have proper plan to upgrade infrastructure like network devices, security devices, bandwidth, data size, security software upgrade, new technology implementation every year.Otherwise, it will be waste by having Datacenters.

SIR, CAN WE HAVE TO APPLY CSR IF WE MAKE AN PROFIT WE HAVE TO INVEST SOME PARTS OF PROFIT IN EDUCATION, HEALTH AND IN ENVIORONMENT CAN WE GET AN PLACE TO PLANT AN TREE SUPPOSE IT IS IN ANY CITY OR VILLAGE OR IN BETWEEN THE ROADS. HOW MANY AREA WILL BE GIVEN TO COMPANY OR STARTS UP. SIR WE THIS IS AN AREA WE MUST HAVE BANKING FACILITIES ALSO AS MANY COMPANY PERATING. THESE ARE THE SOME POINTS WHICH I WANT TO SUGGEST FROM MY SIDE. WE NEED TO HAVE AN MANPOWER ALSO FROM NEAR BY CITY OR VILLAGE.

SIR, GE, SORRY I HAVE SOME SUGGESTIONS LIKE THE EVERY THINK IS FACILITY IS PROVIDED BY GOVERNMENT AND STATE GOVERNMENT THE FIRST QUESTION IS IT IS FOR HOW MANY YEARS START FROM WHICH AND IF SUPPOSE ANY COMPANY WANTS TO EXIT DUE TO FAILURE IN BUSINESS THEN EXIT CALUSE IS THERE. WHAT ARE MAINTANANCE COST TO SERVIVE OR TO RUN THE BUSINESS. AS THIS IS AN PLACE MANY COMPANY ARE THERE WE HAVE TO CREATE ANY GROUP FUND OR HAVE TO GIVE THE SECUITY DEPOSIT. THESE ARE MY SUGGESTIONS.
