In an endeavour to address the inadequacies of capacity constraints and improve its modal share in total freight eco system of the country, Indian Railways has come up with Draft National Rail Plan.

A draft of long term strategic plan called the National Rail Plan has been developed to plan infrastructural capacity enhancement along with strategies to increase modal share of the Railways. The National Rail Plan will be a common platform for all future infrastructural, business and financial planning of the Railways. This plan is being circulated among various Ministries for their views now. Railways aim to finalise the Final plan by January 2021.

Dear Sir, The way only travelers are allowed inside an airport, likewise only travelers with valid train tickets and employees working inside with id passes should be allowed inside the train station. This will help travelers and security personnel's to provide the best service to passengers. This will reduce the over all crime on Indian Railways. My humble suggestion.

Many small & large improvements done in near past. some improvement required pantry car food quality & price also.

Indian railways is not maintain good security that should be first. secondly availablity of seat should be instantly. 3rd train availability in busy route should be more . 4th food and packet items should be available in train with Indian railways logo and outside seller should be restricted in compartment. 5 th indian government should think about quality of railways passenger service not like goods train and try to implement ticket collector in train should wear with dress code .

Sir, I am Ranadheer Kumar Palakurthi from warangal, Telangana India, Government should implement metro rail between metro cities of the country with multi level flyovers which would take 20years to complete.... The fastest means of transport in world is jet speed trains which would save time.... And can make country the developed country like USA, Japan with 400km/hour speed trains... Think once sir jet speed trains in India...
