The Chandigarh Pollution Control Committee (CPCC), U.T, Chandigarh has taken serious cognizance of the increasing pollution levels in the airs of the city. Pollution occurs in many forms including Air, Water, Soil & Noise pollution.

The CPCC has expressed serious concern over the contamination of the overall environment as the sources of pollution don't simply have a negative impact on the natural world, but also have a measurable effect on the health of human beings also.

In this direction, the Chandigarh Pollution Control Committee has decided to engage the citizens of the city for their invaluable suggestions/ideas/opinions/practical solutions to put a check on increasing levels of all types of pollution in Chandigarh.

The CPCC hereby appeals to the city residents to participate in huge number in order to equip the CPCC with more and more innovative and practical solutions/ideas (which are implementable) to curb the problems arising out of different kind of pollution.

for controlling air pollution plants are to be planted in road sides in huge amount and also there is need to use CNG,all transpoart more than 10 years should be rechecked and if they are found unfit then they should not be used. a rule is passed by the Government i.e a personal vehicle like car, jeep etc. not ride on road if it contain only one person and made one day free car day in a week and used only petrol vehicle.

for controlling air pollution many plants are to be planted in road sides and also there is need to use CNG,all transpoart more than 15 years should be rechecked and if they are found unfit then they should not be used. WATER sprinklers can really help to controll dust over roads as well as in the atmosphere, big vaccume technology should be used to vaccume all dust particles as well as toxic air particles .

I had few suggestions to share Ex 1:  Doing plantation to the each and every Hill open area and mountain in the outer periphery of the city by helicopters. Ex 2: putting Air scrubber system at the major polluting areas of city Ex 3: putting water fogger sprinkler on traffic square where dust is high due to construction and traffic

In this hospital mostly emergency patients come from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Jammu by ambulance. But PGI chowk is too much crowed by two or four wheeler vehicles many times ambulance suffers by traffic jam and become late. A moment can save one’s life.

Dear Narendra Modi ji, I have an idea to reduce Traffic problem in India and to reduce Air Pollution there by. My idea is EACH AND EVERY ORGANISATION MUST ADOPT A FORM i.e., ORGANISATION MUST FOLLOW "PUBLIC TRANSPORT DAY" IN "EVERY MONTH" means all the members of the organisation must come in Public Transport instead of their Own Vehicle once in a month. Every Organisation must have its own day like First Monday or First Tuesday or any Day of the week, so that all days of the week are used
